Mr Veliaj recently featured in Barbara A. Lewis's ' Our Time is Now: Young People Changing the World ' which details the lives of 25 young individuals that have changed the world in their respective countries during the last decade. He was additionally voted amongst the 10 most popular figures in Albania for 2005 by the Albanian public.
MJAFT! Movement ( Enough! in English) is regarded as the most active civil society organisation in the Balkans. It has been accredited with reversing the general apathy in Albania, mobilizing popular opinion against corruption as well as exercising great pressure at government levels.
