Master Study Program Health and Society

Master Study Program Health and Society:
International Gender Studies Berlin

The program comprises the following modules:
- Health in various cultural contexts
- Living conditions of women and men in differing societies and
their impact on health
- Diseases and health risks
- Reproductive health in an intercultural context
- Health care systems and services
- Key Qualification Module

The course of study, including the writing of the Master's thesis,
lasts 18 months. The language of instruction will be English.
Intended to take place within this period are five six-week modules
as on-site study, a key qualifications module, an project course and
three months for the completion of the master's thesis.

Admission requirements
- A college degree (Bachelors level or above (diploma, etc.)
- At least 2 years of experience in a health profession
- Evidence of sufficient mastery of the English language (for
example, TOEFL)

Deadline for applications is extended to June 30, 2005
