International Summer Camp for Conversational English, July 2-21, 2005, Bulgaria

The American University in Bulgaria, in cooperation with Bridges for Education, Inc. is organizing for the second time

International Summer Camp for Conversational English

in the town of Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria from July 2 to July 21, 2005. It is open for teenagers 13 --18 years of age, from throughout Europe, who have a basic knowledge of English. In the three weeks of the Camp, young people will have a chance to improve their conversational English language skills, make a lot of friends, and learn exciting new things about other countries and cultures. The purpose of the Camp is to promote tolerance and understanding using English as a bridge.
Students will work with a team of American & Canadian professional and state certified teachers, and local educational specialists. Those students who successfully complete the program will receive a joint certificate of AUBG and Bridges for Education, Inc.

The Camp Fee is the same as last year, 430 EURO, and includes:
v Morning English language classes with professional American and Canadian teachers
v Afternoon and evening activities, such as arts and crafts, debates, sports (baseball, swimming, basketball, soccer), leadership activities, writing for the camp newspaper, games, cultural events such as the International Night and Talent Night shows, etc.
v Intensive English language experience for the 3 weeks of the Camp.
v Accommodation for 3 weeks in the University Residence Halls
v Breakfast, lunch and dinner for 3 weeks in the University canteen.
v Instruction and all educational materials, dictionaries & camp T-shirts.
v Weekend trip to the Rila Monastery, included in the UNESCO World Heritage sites.
v Weekend trip to Bansko, a famous Bulgarian resort and museum town.

Discount Camp Fee: 390 EURO for registration before May 1st, 2005

Teachers who bring 10 students to the camp receive free Room and Board for the 3 weeks of the camp!!!
